Electric resistance chamber furnace CAE 18.52.25/3

Is designed for heating-up of glass sheets loaded in stillages (soak test) up to maximum 300°C. Light steel construction is made of sectional steel and covered with a metal sheet covering. The furnace is insulated with fibre felts which provides excellent economy, low thermal lost, fast heating and cooling, low weight and power input.

The furnace flat floor enables to load four racks with charge (2 + 2 axial symmetric racks one after another). The furnace is equipped with blowers, which ensures uniform temperature distribution inside.

Recirculation fans situated on the furnace ceiling forces the air through the heating units placed in channels between inner and outer casing to the charge. The temperature inside furnace is measured by means of thermocouples and controlled by programmable controler, which ensures increase the temperature according desired curve. The furnace is equipped with servo-motor powered cooling lids; these are controlled by means of temperature controllers so that the cooling curve will be ensured.

The double-wing door is opened manually. On option the door can be lifted by means of electromotor drive upwards. The door is tightly closed to the furnace front. The charge will be loaded onto rack, which lays free on furnace floor. The rack is equipped with two wheels on the narrower side. The surfaces in contact with glass will be covered with asbestos-free insulating material. The rack as well as loading of charge enables intensive airflow around the charge. Sixteen sheath thermocouples can be positioned between glass sheets; these thermocouples demonstrate that no major temperature difference occurred, namely maximum ?10°C during increase or decrease of temperature and ?8°C during the dwell.
